Saturday is Family Day!
With kids in free till noon, a pancake breakfast from 9am-11am and special events through the morning and afternoon, Saturday is the day Families LOVE at the Home & Garden Show!
uBloom Flower Power Challenge!
Join uBloom‘s J Schwanke & WZZM‘s Catherine Behrendt and Local Celebrities as they whip up amazing floral arrangements right on stage on Friday at 6pm on the Home Stage to raise money for local charities! First place will get $500 for their selected charity, second place gets $200, and all others get $100 just for participating. Prize money courtesy of 5/3 Bank!
Women’s Network Volunteers will also be handing out 150 bunches of tulips to attendees, courtesy of Stargazer Barn – an American Grown Flower Farmer.
Feature Center Garden
The Association of Grand Rapids Landscape Professionals once again design and build a beautiful Center Garden. This collection of Grand Rapids’ finest Landscapers will show you how it’s done!
This year’s theme is “A Magical Escape”, and includes elements of Disney’s Cinderella! On opening day, “Dreams Come True” as you walk the red carpet, and the first 100 through the door dressed as Cinderella or Prince Charming will receive a FREE Cinderella Movie Pass from Celebration! Cinema! PLUS you can enter at the show to win a Cinderella movie watch party for you and 10 friends! Includes movie passes, popcorn and pop for you and your guests.
Michigan Floral Association Flower Shop
Head to the back of the Grand Gallery for the Michigan Floral Association’s Flower Shop to get fresh cut flowers, vases and more!
The Michigan Floral Association is a full-service trade organization representing more than 500 florists, growers, wholesalers and Certified Florists statewide. Located in Haslett, MI, MFA offers group savings on insurance, financial services, retail bank card processing & supplies, office supplies, and fleet fueling; is the sponsor of the Certified Florist (CF) program; creates and hosts the Great Lakes Floral Expo annually; conducts educational seminars though out the year at the association headquarters; publishes the Professional Florist magazine; hosts the MFA web site, and interacts with state / federal government agencies.
