Luke Caldwell and Clint Robertson, hosts of HGTV’s “Boise Boys” house flipping series, will reveal cabin and cottage design advice and renovation tips along with highlights of their inventive transformations from their company, Timber And Love, and reality TV show (Thurs. and Fri.). Best friends & renovation experts, the duo says they are an unlikely pairing of two very different people—Luke, the designer, with his signature style, clean lines with a warm modern aesthetic and Clint, a no-nonsense contractor with Texas charm. The second season will premiere in the spring.
Cottage Living Seminar experts will reveal Michigan’s haunted lighthouses; describe a 1,000 mile kayaking adventure; clarify the choice between log and timber frame homes; share a how-to guide for charcuterie at a cottage; explain guidelines for vacation rental success; and explore other opportunities to make it the best season at the cottage yet.

Showgoers can choose the entry that best captures cottage and lakefront living at the Water & Woods Photo Contest Display. Attendees can list their vacation property or look for availability on the “For Sale or Rent Board.” Families can locate and mark where their vacation home is located on an oversized Michigan map.
DreamCatcher BoatWorks of Grand Rapids will demonstrate handcrafted building techniques on a kayak and display a custom-built double paddle canoe, kayak and classic cruiser long-styled skateboards.
