GET READY FOR SUMMERTIME FUN AT THE
COTTAGE & LAKEFRONT LIVING SHOW
NOVI, Mich. – Feb. 23, 2023 – Get ready for summertime with everything in one place from lakefront upgrades or sprucing up interiors to just some beach fun at the Cottage & Lakefront Living Show, Thur., Feb. 23 – Sun., Feb. 26, Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi.
“Our 16th annual pre-season show will help you start now to have the best experience whether you own a cottage, rent a cabin or live on a lake,” said Dawn Baker, show manager of ShowSpan, Inc. “Meet the exhibitors and experts who will help you get the most out of your vacation properties for summer or year-round living.”
See a ‘She Shed’ that can be used as an art studio, hobby area or writing cottage and a lofted cabin that are both furnished by Ashley Furniture. Knowledgeable advice and creative ideas for your vacation or waterfront location are available from show exhibitors and at the Cottage Living Seminar Stage. Attendees can list their vacation property or look for availability on the “For Sale or Rent” bulletin board.
Put your toes in the sand or build a sand castle at the show’s massive sandbox, The Beach, just like you would enjoy on the lakefront. Giant Lawn Games are set up to play cornhole toss or with giant tower of blocks the same as you would experience at your cabin. Families can locate and mark where their vacation home is located on an oversized Michigan map. Showgoers can vote for the entry that best captures cottage and lakefront lifestyle at the Water & Woods Photo Contest.
Michigan artists featured in the Cottage Art Show will present metal art, hand-carved furniture, jewelry and wildlife paintings for one-of-a-kind items. Decorative accessories, gourmet foods, cottage décor along with Michigan-themed merchandise will be available for purchase in the Lakefront Marketplace.
Exhibitors are available for planning and purchasing, whether you are looking to buy, build, rent or maintain your vacation property, with demonstrations, information and educational materials. Displays include builders, realtors, boats, docks, decks, seawalls, lakeshore maintenance and service providers, indoor and outdoor furniture, outdoor recreational equipment and water toys.
“Visit the show for one-stop shopping and help in the planning mode for your next project,” said Baker. “Meet face-to-face with companies and schedule your renovations or purchase now what you need to create this year’s family memories.”
