Professional Riders at the Show
PLEASE NOTE: The following information is from the 2022 Boat Show. The 2023 show details will be posted later this year.
The Boat Show has an impressive line-up of Professional Athletes scheduled to be onsite throughout the weekend! Stop by the participating boat dealers’ displays to meet them while you’re at the Show.
Professional wakesurfer Cassidy Gale will be at the Tommy’s display on Saturday from 12pm – 3pm.
Malibu Team Rider
2 X World Champion, Cassidy Gale has been wakesurfing since 2010 and is sponsored by Tommy’s, Malibu, Agenda Surf, Follow, Kanuk and Lead Wake. She spends her summers in Michigan and winters in Florida. She takes her training seriously and gets the absolute best wave behind her Malibu M240. Cassidy also provides coaching and tips to amateur and professional riders!
Meet pro wakeboarders and skiers Trever Maur, Carro Djupsjo, Massi Piffaretti, Brooks Wilson, Meagan Ethell and Benjamin Stadlbaur at the Action Water Sports booth Friday and Saturday.
Hyperlite Wakeboards Team Rider
Trever Maur has thrown down in all aspects of wakeboarding. His style behind the boat is unmatched, a true West Coast Freerider sensation, pushing his riding and making tricks look cool. At the Wake Park he’s on a mission where he’s creating new layouts and lines to go with each. Being pulled by a winch he’s a mad man and will push those around him to improve. Trever is now inspiring the next generation of riders!
Carro started wakeboarding when she was 13 years old and has been hooked ever since. She has worked hard to defy the limits of wakeboarding by becoming the first European female to land a double flip! She has been competing internationally since 2008 and named the European Female Wakeboard Athlete of the Year in 2014.
The easiest way to sum up Massi is he is that guy. A handful of people on the beach, or in a boat – if Massi is there chances are he will have everybody in stitches with a story. Coming from the shores of Lake Como, Italy, Massi is set to be the next biggest all around rider behind the boat, or on the cable. Did we mention he already has a world championship to his belt.
Brooks is the Brand Manager of Radar with a passion to bring skiing to the masses and change the way people think about slalom. Transitioning from competitor to coach to brand manager, since 2010, Brooks has poured his passion into the development of the entire Radar Ski line
Meagan has been wakeboarding since she was eight years old. In 2021 she won her 7th World title. She is also a six-time Wakeboarding Magazine Female Rider of the Year. Some of her best moments on a wakeboard include riding Lake Michigan in Chicago, on Lake Mulwala in Australia, and Lake Como in Italy.
Originally from Geneva, Switzerland, Benjamin now trains from the Swiss Waterski Resort in Clermont, FL. He won gold at the NCWSA National Championships during his collegiate career. He is now in the pro circuit taking shots at the podium.
