On The Road Again…Michigan International
Auto Show Returns to DeVos Place February 3-6, 2022
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich – After a year interruption, the 24th Annual Michigan International Auto Show will roll back into DeVos Place in downtown Grand Rapids, February 3-6, 2022. The event will once again be hosted by the Grand Rapids New Car Dealers Association and produced by ShowSpan Inc., with presenting sponsor Gentex Corporation.
“It is truly exciting to be planning the 2022 Michigan International Auto Show after everything was put on hold over the last year,” says Henri Boucher, Show Producer. “We know that the public is raring to go to these large gatherings with their friends and families once again. The auto manufacturers and dealers are also delighted to be showing off their newest products after being shuttered in for so long.”
Each year, this Auto Show provides the public with the best opportunity to view hundreds of vehicles from more than 35 global manufacturers including a variety of trucks, SUVs, electrics and performance vehicles, as well as a handful of pre-production models.
“We are excited to open up our doors once again for one of West Michigan’s premier consumer shows,” says Richard MacKeigan, Regional General Manager for ASM which operates DeVos Place. “The Auto Show always brings a level of energy to downtown as people from all sectors of our community show up to check out all the spectacular cars, trucks and other vehicles on display inside what is essentially a huge multi-manufacturer showroom.”
Guests will also see the latest advancements in electrification and connectivity, and many other emerging technologies that will be showcased by product specialists and auto industry experts on hand throughout the show. Features in autonomous vehicles and artificial intelligence are also being explored, in addition to comfort measures as shared mobility rises in the auto industry.
“This event specifically is a celebration of the rich automotive industry that our state is dependent on – from suppliers to dealers to the overall employment base which contribute to the overall economic impact here in Michigan,” says George Sharpe Jr., President of the Grand Rapids New Car Dealers Association.
The 24th Annual Michigan International Auto Show, hosted by the Grand Rapids New Car Dealers Association, is one of 14 consumer expositions produced by ShowSpan Inc., in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Founded in 1945, ShowSpan – a Studio C Company – is the largest producer of consumer shows in the Midwest.
