This internationally famous star will return to the Milwaukee Boat Show January 23-27!  Come join Twiggy and her team for a family friendly, fun-filled, interactive show featuring Twiggy the Water-Skiing Squirrel!  Learn all about water safety, waterskiing and what wild things Twiggy gets into at her lagoon.

One of the Midwest’s finest dealers of Fishing Boats has once again scheduled a fantastic lineup of Pro Anglers and guides to share their knowledge and techniques on the water with attendees to the Boat Show. Bass, Walleye, Trout and Salmon are all covered in these seminars that are presented on both Saturdays and Sundays of the Show.

Jim O’Brien – Dancing with Walleyes Fishing Guide Service LLC |
Jim operates Dancing with Walleye Fishing Guide Service in Southeast Wisconsin.  He competes in several Walleye tournaments each year with his two best partners, sons Jimmy and Chris.  Jim takes great pride in passing on fishing skills learned to anglers young and old.  His guide service operates year round from open water to ice fishing.

Lynn has over a decade of professional experience as a guide and tournament fisherman, specializing in walleye fishing.  He has fished both team and pro-am tournament circuits for walleye and musky and has been featured in segments of Outdoor Wisconsin, Midwest Outdoors and the Travis Richardson Outdoor Fishing Guide Show.

Warren has been fishing Wisconsin bass tournaments for over 30 years.  His angling research has been published in several magazines, including In-Fisherman Magazine.  He also enjoys fishing for many different species and has fished in several different countries.  His talk will blend his angling experience of Wisconsin’s clear water lakes and his clear water research.

Jake Kaprelian – Epic Guide Service owner Jake Kaprelian has a lifetime of hunting and fishing knowledge to accommodate his career as a professional guide.  Jake grew up in southeastern Wisconsin and can remember hunting and fishing since he could walk.

Rick has been tournament fishing for 10 years and enjoys taking people fishing and teaching them new techniques. His presentations will feature information about finesse rigging for walleye in Wisconsin rivers.

Gary has been a fishing guide since 1987. He is on the pro-staff for Lund Boats, Mercury Marine, Motorguide, Lowrance Electronics, St. Croix Rods, Quantum Reels, Venom Lures, Bait Rigs Tackle, Off Shore Tackle, H3O Sunglasses, and Mr. Outboard’s Watersports Marine. He is also the organizer and president of the Sturgeon Bay Sport Fishing Association of Door County, founder and organizer of the annual Father’s Day Fishing Day, Tournament Director for the NFL Alumni Tournament, and gives a daily fishing report on several radio stations.

The first 250 lucky attendees to the M-W Marine Fishing Seminars will be presented with a special commemorative Dardevle lure, courtesy of Eppinger Manufacturing!  Eppinger is a 4th generation family owned Michigan fishing lure manufacturer with a century long history of producing the world famous Dardevle.  These special lures bear the logo of the Show and a special run has been produced just for this event.  Make sure to attend early to secure this valuable collector’s item!




Evinrude Fishing Seminar Leaders:

These three Legendary Wisconsin Anglers will assemble on Saturday, January 19 at the Boat Show at State Fair Park for an incredible day of seminars starting at noon.  Each angler will present a seminar on his specialties and tell a few stories.  Then at 6pm they will all participate in a Panel discussion and question and answer session followed by a “meet and greet” session in the Evinrude Display.  Avid Anglers won’t want to miss this opportunity to meet these guys.

John Gillespie – John started his television career as a sportscaster and worked in TV newsrooms from 1972 through 1990. His stops included Milwaukee, WI, Toledo, OH, Green Bay, WI and Dallas, TX. In 1990 he decided to end his newsroom career and start his own outdoor show, Waters & Woods, which airs weekly. Resource preservation is an important focal point on each show as well as techniques, and the latest products that will help the viewer be more successful on their next outdoor excursion.

Pete Maina – Pete is North America’s number one authority on Muskie and Pike fishing. Pete has authored books, countless articles and educational VIDEOS – as well as being a very popular speaker and “personality” at fishing events and sport shows throughout North America. He was named as one of the “Top 20 Anglers on the Planet” by Outdoor Life Magazine (2011).

Joe Bucher – Joe was inducted into the National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame in 2000 as a Legendary Angler. Considered by his peers to be one of the top multi-species anglers in the business and a master of a wide variety of techniques. Joe founded Musky Hunter Magazine and still writes for them as well as The Outdoor News and Midwest Outdoors on a regular basis.  He hosted his own television show that ran for 30 years, “Fishing with Joe Bucher”, and he is also the author of several books on various aspects of fishing.
