Life in Bloom Flower Power Charity Challenge!

Friday, February 28 at 6pm on the Home Stage, watch local personalities arrange flowers in a bid to win money for their favorite charity! Hosted by 13 ON YOUR SIDE's Catherine Behrendt & J Schwanke of J Schwanke's Life in Bloom 

The Prize:

Grand Prize $500 for the Winning Charity!

The winner is determined by audience applause! Cheer on your favorite celebrity or charity! Runners-up win $100 each for their charity.

Saturday is Family Day!

With kids in free till noon & special events through the morning and afternoon, Saturday is the day Families LOVE at the Home & Garden Show!

    10am (While Supplies Last) | Plant a Pansy in the Center Garden with the Association of Grand Rapids Landscape Professionals
  • 10:30am - 11:15am | Make Cereal & Pasta Necklaces at the Williams Kitchen Studio Cooking Stage w/Chef Jeff
  • 11am - 12noon | Gardening is a Family Affair! 4-H Kids Activity w/Samantha Bloom, MSU Extension at the Garden Stage
  • 11am - 12noon | LIVE Birds of Prey Presentation hosted by Lori Lomoro, Blandford Nature Center at the Home Stage
  • 11am - 1pm | Balloon animals with Irish Roofing in Booth 2129
  • 12pm - 1pm | Flowers for Mom - Make a Bouquet with the Great Lakes Floral Association in the Grand Gallery
  • 1pm - 2pm | LIVE Birds of Prey Presentation hosted by Lori Lomoro, Blandford Nature Center at the Home Stage
  • 3pm - 4pm | Gardening is a Family Affair! 4-H Kids Activity w/Lily Arriaga & Barry County TOC at the Garden Stage

Smoke House Fire Safety with the GR Fire Department near the Garden to Table Stage

PLUS activities all day with Grace Adventures, performances by the Grand Rapids Youth Symphony, Crash from West Michigan Whitecaps giving away Whitecaps Tickets!

 

The Garden & Art Market

A featured shopping section of the West Michigan Home & Garden Show with booths of unique and inspired garden accessories, plants, decor, art and gifts from the finest West Michigan nursery greenhouses, artists and gift boutiques. Stroll through the Grand Gallery Meeting rooms for the perfect piece of art for your home and essential accessories for your garden!

Pickleball Court

Pickleball is on a rocket ride of popularity. Some counts suggest there are over 4 million ‘picklers’ in the US today. If you are one of them, or want to pick up a pickleball paddle and join the craze - stop over to our full size pickleball court to try it out. There will be experts on hand throughout the weekend to offer tips and advice to get started, give you a chance to take to the court, and if it’s open court bring your sparing partner and play a short game!
